Beginning today, January 6, 2026, LeagueApps will retain 2% of the original transaction amount on refunded credit and debit card payments to cover card network processing costs of refunds. For example, if a credit card transaction occurred on December 1, 2025 and is refunded on January 10, 2026, LeagueApps will retain 2% of the refunded amount and return the rest of the original transaction amount and processing fees.
Additionally, credit and debit card refund windows are now standardized to 180 days, in line with ACH and card-network norms. For example, a credit card transaction from December 1, 2025 will only be eligible for a refund on the LeagueApps platform if the refund is processed prior to June 1, 2026.
